Masterpieces from the Hinton Collection

The 'cream' of NERAM's Howard Hinton Collection has been selected for this exhibition. Works selected include McMahon's Point Ferry, 1890, by Arthur Streeton, Christmas Bush, 1923, by Margaret Preston, Apollo's Vanguard, 1933 by Norman Lindsay and The Beach, 1918, by Elioth Gruner. Artwork by a number of other well known artists will also be on display as part of this travelling exhibition.

The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie

This ever-popular play is based on the novel by Muriel Spark, and was a hugely successful film with Maggie Smith as Brodie. The play is set in a girl's private school in Edinburgh in the 1930s, the production has a strong Scottish flavour, while the play has its powerful serious themes, it also has hilarious comic overtones which audiences will enjoy immensely.

3 days of great jazz and blues featuring Jim Conway's Big Wheel, Don Hopkins, Steve and Billy Lambert, the Peter Locke Trio with Ed Gaston, John Morrison, Roger Burke and Di Bird, the Northern Nighthawks and Brett Iggulden. On Friday night lovers of Blues can experience the fabulous sound of one of the most popular Blues performers in the business, Don Hopkins. Saturday night you can groove to the beat of Bill Conway's Big Wheel or revel in the sound of Brett Iggulden and friends playing the best in traditional jazz. On Saturday and Sunday a champagne brunch will be available from 9.30am, bring the family along and enjoy the great atmosphere of the newly renovated Federal Hotel Bellingen.
